We have heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides for some time.

We have perused paragraph No.21 of the impugned interlocutory order dated 13/12/2023, passed by the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal). The learned Tribunal has called upon the parties to co-operate for a final disposal of the pending Original Applications. The next date of hearing is posted on 16/02/2024.

The learned Advocates for the respective sides consent for the following modalities :- (a) The learned Advocates physically attending in the Court Hall representing the Intervenors, would collect a copy of the Original Application from the learned Advocate for the Petitioner, today itself.

(b) The present Petitioner would add the Intervenors as Respondents in Original Application No.979/2023, on or before 16/02/2024.

(c) The Intervenors would file their affidavits-in-reply, on or before 16/02/2024.

(d) All the learned Advocates agree to address the learned Tribunal and also tender their written submissions, in between 16/02/2024 and 20/02/2024.

In view of the above, we can only request the learned Tribunal, if it is not inconvenient to it, to decide the Original Application No.999/2023 and Original Application No.979/2023, by the end of March 2024.

Since the Petitioner before us is not a selected candidate and having been held not suitable, pursuant to the advertisement, we would not create any embargo on the selection process, more so, in the light of paragraph No.21 of the order of the learned Tribunal.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
