Heard Mr. Tungar, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. Goyanka, learned AGP representing the respondents. 2.

This petition seeks a prayer for directions to be issued to the Respondent No. 2 for conducting the measurement of land comprising in Gut No. 38/2, situated at Nawabpur, Taluka Gangapur, District Aurangabad. Learned AGP submitted that on a preliminary enquiry, it was found that the Petitioners were not in possession of the land. Be that as it may, if the application by the Petitioners is moved for measurement of the

land, such application has to be taken to its logical end. In case the land which is sought to be measured can be measured in law, the entire exercise of the measurement shall be undertaken and completed within two months only from today. If the land cannot be measured, the Petitioners shall be accordingly informed by the authority.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
