The claim of the Petitioner of belonging to the 'Dhangad' Scheduled Tribe category, is pending with Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.2, to complete the Vigilance Cell Enquiry within 3 months, and thereafter, decide the claim of the Petitioner in a further period of 3 months (total six months), on or before 30/06/2024.

The Petitioner shall file an affidavit undertaking in this Court and also with Respondent No.3 and 4/Education

422.24wp (2) Society, on or before 31/01/2024, declaring that he would not claim any further promotion / increment / pay-fixation / service benefits, etc., until his claim is validated by this Court. 4.

On the condition of filing an undertaking, we direct Respondent Nos.3 and 4 that the Petitioner's service shall not be terminated till 30/06/2024, prior to which, the Scrutiny Committee would decide his claim.
