By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks direction against Respondent No.1 to 4 to regularize his possession over the land admeasuring 4 Acre out of Govt. Land Gat No.321/2 situated at village Shirasgaon, Tal. Chalisgaon, Dist. Jalgaon in terms of Government Policy as well as the provisions of Rules 10, 11, 12 and 17 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Disposal of Government Land) Rules, 1971, in respect of Serviceman as well as Ex-serviceman. He has further prayed that, Respondent Nos.1 to 4 be directed to take decision on his pending Application dated 27.10.2023 for regularization of his possession over the said land. 2.

Perusal of the record shows that on 28.11.2023 the Divisional Commissioner, Nashik, forwarded the communication to the

2 931..odt District Collector, Jalgaon, to verify the Petitioner's claim and submit the proposal in tune with the Government Resolution and Rules governing the Petitioner's claim. However, there is no progress in the matter in pursuance to the aforesaid communication.

In this background, Respondent Nos.2 and 3 are directed to consider and decide the Petitioner's claim in Application dated 27.10.2023 as forwarded by Divisional Commissioner, Nashik, vide communication dated 28.11.2023 within a period of six months from today.
