Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.

The petitioners have impugned the order by Writ Petition Stamp No.40621 of 2019. However, the said Writ petition was dismissed for default. The petitioners had moved an application for restoration of the said Writ petition with delay of 677 days. It was allowed. Thereafter, the writ petition was numbered as 71 of 2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioners states that the statutory remedy of appeal is available to the petitioners. Hence, leave may be granted to withdraw the petition with a direction to the competent Authority to consider the period spent in High Court for condonation of delay.

It seems that the petition was filed during Covid-2019 pandemic. The petitioners appear not diligent but entitled to the benefit of Covid-2019. Hence, leave granted to withdraw the writ petition. If he prefers the appeal at the earliest, the Authority may consider the period spent in the High Court for condonation of delay.

Writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. 6.

No order as to costs.
