The Petitioner has tendered a representation contending that, a liquor outlet should be shut down. 2.

The procedure to be adopted for closing down a liquor vending establishment is prescribed under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. No steps can be taken without following the procedure as is laid down.
