The petitioner was the Sarpanch of village Haldola, Taluka Badnapur.

Respondent Nos.4 to 9 moved No Confdence Motion, which was passed in the meeting held on 02.07.2019. 3.

The petitioner challenged the proceedings of the said meeting before the Collector, Jalna dated 11.12.2019., who rejected the challenge. Being aggrieved, the petitioner is in writ jurisdiction.

The Counsel for the petitioner would submit that there was no discussion in the meeting held to consider the No Confdence Motion.

The submission cannot be

(2) WP-459.2020.odt countenanced in view of the settled legal position. Be it noted, that the petitioner did not attend the meeting in which No Confdence Motion was passed by overwhelming majority. As a matter of fact, every member, obviously other than the petitioner, has voted in favour of the No Confdence Motion. There is no reason whatsoever to interfere with the expression of will of majority.

The petition is without substance and is dismissed.
