The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that even vigilance has been conducted by respondent No. 2 - Committee in the validation proceedings. The employer has issued a notice asking to produce validity certificate or else, the petitioner's services will be terminated.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 5th February, 2020. Mr Golegaonkar, the learned Counsel submits that the petitioner will file his say on the very same day before the Committee. The Committee shall endeavour to decide the proceeding expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

In light of that, the impugned communication is quashed and set aside.

The employer shall not take adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. 5.

The employer may take further course of action depending upon the Judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceeding.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
