1] By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking extension of time to deposit an amount of Rs.2,56,000/-. 2] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will deposit the amount of Rs.1,25,000/- within two weeks from today and rest of the amount will be deposited within 2 months from today.

3] The learned counsel for the respondent submits that appropriate order be passed.

4] Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I pass the following order :

ORDER

i] The petitioner is directed to deposit an amount of Rs.1,25,000/- within two weeks from today, and also, directed to deposit rest of the amount within two months from today.

ii] If the petitioner fails to deposit the aforesaid amount, the Appellate Court shall pass appropriate order. iii] Criminal Writ Petition is allowed to the above extent.
