The matters are settled in Lok Adalat according to the petitioners.

The relevant Government Resolution prescribes that the amount of compensation shall be paid within a period of six months. In the present matters the settlements are arrived at more than six months back.

In light of the above, we pass following order:

ORDER

(I) In case, the settlements arrived at in Lok Adalat are in force and as per the said settlements the petitioners are entitled for amount of compensation, then the respondents shall pay the amount as payable to the petitioners in terms of the settlements arrived at Lok Adalat preferably within a period of six (06) months.

Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
