Date : 23rd FEBRUARY, 2016.
Heard Advocate Patil for the petitioner, AGP for respondent no. 1 and Advocate Mohgaonkar for respondents 2 and 3.
Petitioner seeks directions to respondents 2 and 3 to consider his entitlement for the post of Superintending Engineer as per advertisement published in June 2014. This Court has issued notice on 09.3.2015 and thereafter respondents 2 and 3 have filed their reply. Advocate Mohgaonkar points out that the last date for applying as per the advertisement was 21.7.2014 and the petition has been filed long thereafter. He further submits that the petitioner though submitted Caste
2302wp1237.15 Certificate, did not have Non-Creamy Layer Certificate and as such his candidature could not have been processed. He makes a statement that in the meanwhile the process is completed.
In this situation, considering the limited prayers in the petition, and as the process is already complete, with liberty to the petitioner to take such steps as are open in law, we dispose of the writ petition. No costs.
