By this writ petition, petitioners are challenging rejection of nomination papers by returning officer. 2.

Heard learned counsel Shri U.J.Deshpande for petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader Shri K.L.Dharmadhikari for the State.

The issue involved in this writ petition is not res integra in view of authoritative pronouncement of the Full Bench judgment in the case of Karmaveer Tulshiram Autade and ors vs. The State Election Commissioner and ors in Writ Petition St.No.26/2021 dated 13.1.2021 holding therein that the writ petition is not maintainable against order rejecting nomination papers. 4.

In this view of the matter, in view of the said authoritative pronouncement, this writ petition is not maintainable and, therefore, the same is dismissed and disposed of keeping all points open if petitioners choose to file election petition before competent court.
