Kailash Visnaji Dongare has assailed his conviction under Section 354 and 506 of Indian Penal Code by filing Criminal Appeal No. 354 of 1999. The State Government has questioned his acquittal under Section 378 of Indian Penal Code by filing Criminal Appeal No. 56 of 2000.

The report received from Police Patil, Borgaon Vairale, Borgaon, Taluka - Balapur, District - Akola, reveals that Kailash has expired at Nasik on 24.04.2007.

Shri Doifode, learned APP was given time to verify these facts. Upon verification and in furtherance of this Court's order dated 22.06.2015, the learned APP states that Kailash has expired.

In this situation, Appeals abate and are disposed of accordingly.
