The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition as the petitioner is desirous of availing the alternate remedy under Section 138 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949.

Permission is granted. The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. If the revision as aforesaid is preferred by the petitioner, we expect the Revisional Authority to decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of filing the revision. 3.
