The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for directions to the trial Court to expedite the trial and dispose of it.

The petitioner is arrested on 12.04.2022 in connection with Crime No.141/2022 registered under Sections 302, 201 and 120-B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, one witness is already examined. Thus, it is apparent that there is progress in the trial. Considering the huge pendency before the learned trial Court, no such directions can be given. In view of that, there is no merit in the petition.

The petition is dismissed.
