OCTOBER 07, 2025 1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondents.

2) By the present petition, the petitioner challenged the order dated 21/12/2023 passed by the District Cooperative Election Officer and District Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Akola, whereby the objection raised by the petitioner about the exclusion of names of 125 voters came to be rejected. 3) In view of the fact that the elections are already over and though this Court has passed order that election would be subject to outcome of the writ petition, but fact that the petitioner can challenge all these issues before the competent authority by availing alternate and equally efficacious remedy under the provisions of Cooperative Societies Act.

4) In view of above, the petition stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file election petition or alternate remedy as is available in law.
