D ATE : JANUARY 24 , 202 WRIT PETITION NO. 15/2023 In this Writ Petition, the petitioner had sought a direction to be issued to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the petitioner's tribe claim within a specified period. After filing of the Writ Petition, the Scrutiny Committee on 19/1/2023 refused to adjudicate the petitioner's tribe certificate on the ground that it was not in form 'C'. The communication dated 19/1/2023 is the subject matter of challenge in Writ Petition No. 536/2023.

In view of aforesaid, this Writ Petition is disposed of as having served its purpose.

WRIT PETITION NO. 536/2023 The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the impugned communication has been issued by the Scrutiny Committee at Gondia. Hence, leave is granted to the petitioner to implead the aforesaid Committee as respondent No.4.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the newly added respondent.

Shri G.N. Khanzode, learned Counsel waives notice for respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks time of one week to file an affidavit to indicate whether the aforesaid Scrutiny Committee was functioning during the period of pandemic.
