This is an appeal challenging the judgment and order of acquittal passed by the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Chimur on 16.1.2001. By the impugned judgment and order, all the accused-present respondent nos.2 to 4 were acquitted of the offences punishable under Sections 294 and 506 (b) of the Indian Penal Code.
On 18.12.2014, learned counsel for both the parties were present and by consent present appeal was fixed for final hearing in the month of January, 2015. Today none present. As such, Criminal Appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution and accordingly disposed of.
