Vide resolution dated 19.10.2010 the mobile tower holders were saddled with a penalty of Rs.20,000/- per meter of height.

Since the new policy was published in the Government Gazette on 04.03.2014, the grievance in the petition is said to be governed by the same. As such the resolution dated 19.10.2010 is quashed and set aside, grievance of the petitioner in view of the new policy does not survive. Rgd.

The respondent Corporation may pass appropriate orders afresh having regard to the policy published in the Government Gazette dated 04.03.2014, in accordance with law.
