Nomination papers of the petitioner were rejected and, therefore, the petitioner approached to this Court and this Court (Coram : Manish Pitale, J.) on 4.1.2021 by interim order allowed the petitioner to contest from Prabhag-1 of Gram Panchayat Kawtha, tahsil Risod, district Washim. Accordingly, the petitioner contested election which held on 15.1.2021 3.

Today, when this writ petition came up for its admission, learned counsel Shri P.M.Pade and learned Assistant Government Pleader Shri Ashish Kadukar for the State submitted that the petitioner lost election.

Be that as it may, the writ petition was filed against rejection of nomination papers.

In view of law laid down by the full bench of this Court in the case of Karmaveer Tulshiram Autade and ors vs. The State and Election Commission and ors decided on 13.1.2021 in Writ Petition (St.) No.26/2021 and connected matters, this writ .....2/-

wp45.21 31 petition is not maintainable challenging rejection of nomination papers.

In view of the law laid down in the case cited supra, this writ petition itself is not maintainable and it is dismissed and disposed of as such.
