The appellant/claimant seeking direction against respondent No.2 to deposit the amount of compensation. The appeal is already settled before the Lok-Adalat. Panel of the Lok-Adalat passed an order to the effect that respondent No.2 - Insurance Company to deposit Rs.5,25,000/- (Rs. Five lacs twenty five thousand) in the Court within a period of two months from the date of passing of the order.

It is further directed that on failure of respondent No.2 - Insurance Company to pay the amount within a period of two months, the Insurance Company is liable to pay the interest @ 7.5% per annum.

The award is passed on 12/03/2022. Till today respondent No.2 - Insurance Company has not deposited the amount.

Respondent No.2 - Insurance Company is directed to deposit the amount within a period of two weeks.
