DATE : October 05, 2021 In this appeal filed under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent the order of learned Single Judge dated 18/12/2012 in Writ Petition No.4438/2012 is under challenge. By the said order the removal of the respondent No.4 from the post of Up-Sarpanch in view of passing of the motion of no-confidence came to be stayed. The learned counsel for the parties jointly submit that the elective term of the respondent No.4 has now come to an end and Writ Petition No.4438/2012 has also been disposed of having been rendered infructuous.

In the light of the fact that Writ Petition No.4438/2012 has been disposed of and the order impugned in this Letters Patent Appeal was an interim order passed in that writ petition, nothing survives for adjudication in this Letters Patent Appeal. Accordingly the Letters Patent Appeal is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. No costs.
