After arguing sometime, the learned Advocate for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application, however, requests that the Sessions Court be directed to conclude the trial within 3 months. The application is dismissed as withdrawn.

Considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since 7th March, 2016, the applicant is granted liberty to request the Sessions Court to expedite the trial and if such request is made, the Sessions Court shall endeavour to conclude the trial within time as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the judgment given in the case of Hussain and another V/s. Union of India reported in AIR 2017 SC 1362.
