Dated : 4 th March, 2015 The dispute in this petition pertains to seniority of the Government servants. The Appellate Authority, acting under the provisions of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1979, has adjudicated upon such dispute. In view of this, the remedy of the petitioners lies before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal.

The petition is dismissed for existence of alternate remedy.

The interim order passed by this Court shall continue for a period of four weeks from today; after expiry of which, it shall stand automatically vacated.

All questions are kept open to be agitated before the Tribunal.
