This writ petition was filed challenging rejection of nomination papers of the petitioner for Sakhara Gram Panchayat, tahsil Samudrapur, district Wardha.

By interim order dated 4.1.2021 this Court (Coram : Manish Pitale, J.) granted interim relief in favour of the petitioner subject to result of this writ petition. 4.

In view of the interim order, it is submission of learned counsel Shri Apurva De for the petitioner that the petitioner was allowed to contest election held on 15.1.2021. Learned counsel submits that he is unaware about result of election.

Be that as it may, the writ petition was filed challenging rejection of nomination papers.

In view of law laid down by the full bench of this Court in the case of Karmaveer Tulshiram Autade and ors vs. The .....2/-

wp76.21 32 State and Election Commission and ors decided on 13.1.2021 in Writ Petition (St.) No.26/2021 and connected matters and when interim order was subject to result of the writ petition, this writ petition is not maintainable challenging rejection of nomination papers.

In view of the law laid down in the case cited supra, this writ petition is not maintainable and it is dismissed and disposed of as such.

Needless to mention that interim order stands vacated. Consequences to follow.
