This writ petition was filed because returning officer accepted nomination papers of respondent No.2/Haribhau Narayan Deshmukh.

On 4.1.2021, Notices on this writ petition were issued. Today, when this writ petition was called out for final hearing, learned counsel Shri U.J.Deshpande for the petitioner submitted that elections are recently concluded for Gram Panchayat on 15.1.2021, results are declared on 18.1.2021, and in the said elections respondent No.2 was defeated. He, therefore, submits the writ petition has rendered infructuous.

In this view of the matter, the writ petitioner is disposed of as rendered infructuous.
