The applicants have sought to condone the delay of 1457 days in filing the appeal against the judgment and award dated 10/10/2016 passed by the Reference Court in L.A.C. No.2163/2004. Learned Counsel for the applicants, under instructions, states that the applicants shall not claim interest for the delayed period i.e. 1457 days.

In the light of the said statement and in view of the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed. Delay is condoned subject to the condition that the applicants shall not be entitled for interest for the delayed period i.e. 1457 days. The civil application stands disposed of.

Appeal be registered after removing office objections, if any.
