Panchnama does not mention the nature of rope used to commit suicide by hanging. Learned A.P.P. from photographs states that prima facie rope appears to be a nylon rope which got elongated, as a dead weight continued to hang on it. Rope if perused carefully appears to be stretched after knot and therefore, after loop put around the neck. The sofa

The photographs and panchnama therefore, raise several questions.

Though we need not at this stage accept the contention that it was a murder, we find that investigation has not been carried out properly. 5.

We therefore, direct respondent nos. 1 and 2 to transfer the investigation to local crime branch immediately.

With these directions, we partly allow the Writ Petition. No costs.
