The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the Election Commission of India to decide the complaint of the petitioner, dated 31.3.2015 within a time frame. Ms. Chaubey, the learned counsel for the Election Commission of India has tendered an affidavit-in-reply in the court today. The same is accepted on record.

It is stated in the affidavit-in-reply that the respondent no.1 is considering the complaint of the petitioner, dated 31.3.2015 and the same would be decided within a reasonable period. In view of the statement made on behalf of the respondent no.1, we direct the respondent no.1 to decide the complaint of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of six months.

Order accordingly. No costs.
