Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.
This is an application filed by the applicants-petitioners for amendment as set out in para 5 of the application. According to the applicants, the amendment does not change the nature of the petition nor it causes prejudice to the respondents.
The learned ASGI vehemently opposed the application stating that the amendment as is sought appears to be based on apprehension of the applicants. He, therefore, states that the amendment may not be permitted.
2 6ca26.21 For the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed.
The applicants-petitioners are permitted to amend the petition and serve the copy of amended petition to the respective respondents. Amendment to be carried out within a period of one week.
The respondents are at liberty to file their replies to the amended petition.
Learned ASGI waives notice for added respondent.
