The Petitioner was working as an Assistant Teacher in a school run by Respondent No.1-Zilla Parishad, Amravati. He was appointed on 12 February 1970 and was confirmed on 25 September 1970. The Petitioner filed this Writ Petition on 4 January 2010 contending that he has been wrongly retired on 31 March 2008 when his term should be 31 March 2010. The Petitioner had sought a relief that he should be continued in

wp 129.2010 service till 31 March 2010 after granting reinstatement. In this Petition, Rule was issued on 16 February 2010. No interim relief was granted. Thereafter, when the Petition came up on Board earlier, none appeared for the Petitioner.

Today also none appears. Board has been notified in advance.

It appears that since even the extended period sought for the Petitioner has already been over, the Petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this Petition. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous.

Rules is discharged.
