Limited relief has been claimed in the petition seeking directions to the respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's representation for grant of police protection.

Earlier the petitioner has applied for grant of police protection but as it was refused, petitioner filed Writ Petition No.378/2016 in which it is observed that the petitioner shall make representation within three weeks and then, the Prity

2 / 2 13.appw03.2023 authority shall decide the same afresh within next six weeks.

Since, the representation was not decided, petitioner again filed Writ Petition No.61/2019, putting the same grievance. The said writ petition was withdrawn by petitioner so as to file the appropriate representation. This Court has disposed writ petition with specific direction to decide the representation within a period of three months from the date of the order. This time again the petitioner has put similar grievance as though he has filed fresh representation on 22.03.2021 followed by reminder dated 28.04.2022, it has not been decided.

The petition is disposed of with similar directions that respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from today. If necessary, petition can be heard. We hope and trust strict adherence of time limit from the authority. 6.

Inform concerned authority, accordingly.
