The applicants, who are respondent Nos.1 & 2 in First Appeal No.446/2018, have filed this application for withdrawal of the compensation deposited by the appellant-Insurance Company, as per the judgment and award, dated 03/10/2017 passed by the Claims Tribunal in M.A.C.P. No.575/2012. As per the judgment, dated 03/10/2017, an amount of Rs.4,73,000/- with proportionate interest was awarded in favour of applicant No.1-Jasmeet Kaur and an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- with proportionate interest was awarded in favour of applicant No.2- Amrut Singh.

Applicant No.1, being the widow of the deceased, is permitted to withdraw the compensation of Rs.4,73,000/- with proportionate interest accrued thereon. Applicant No.2 is a minor. Hence, the balance amount of Rs.3,00,000/- with proportionate interest accrued thereon is ordered to be invested in the name

fa.446.18 2/2 of applicant No.2-Amrut Singh in any nationalized bank under fixed deposit initially for a period of six years with further renewal till the date, he attains the age of majority.

The application stands disposed of accordingly.
