JUDGMENT

(Per : A.S. Chandurkar, J.) Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The only relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is a direction to be issued to the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Buldana to consider his request for correction in the date of birth. According to the petitioner, his date of birth is 03.02.1977, but the same has been recorded as 03.02.1976. The petitioner is serving as Shikshan Sevak at the respondent no.1 College. 3.

Considering the limited relief, the petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Buldana to consider the petitioner's application dated 29.11.2016 seeking correction in his date of birth. The decision on that application be taken within a period of four weeks from receipt of copy of this order. The decision taken be communicated to the petitioner. 4.
