The applicant has sought to condone the delay of 1674 days in challenging the judgment and award dated 09/03/2016 passed by the Reference Court in L.A.C. No.1852/2004. The delay is inordinate. Nevertheless, considering the reasons stated in the application and in view of the dictum of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Ningappa Thotappa Angadi (Dead), through Lrs. Vs. the Special Land Acquisition Officer & Another (Civil Appeal No.9415/2019), the delay is condoned. The applicant shall not be entitled for any interest during the delayed period i.e. from the date of impugned judgment till the date of the application. The civil application stands disposed of.

Appeal be registered after removing office objections, if any.
