The prayer made in this writ petition is to restrain the respondent nos. 5 and 6 from proceeding with the elections of the respondent no.5Trust that are scheduled on 09.01.2022. This prayer is made specifically in view of the communication dated 28.12.2021 that was issued by the Officer of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation in the light of restrictions pursuant to COVID-19. The respondent no.6 has appeared in person and tendered a pursis in which it has been stated that the elections that are scheduled on 09.01.2022 have been postponed and a fresh declaration in that regard would be made subsequently. Notice of ten days would be given prior to schedule date of elections.
In view of aforesaid the purpose for which the petition is filed has been served. It is expected that the respondent nos. 5 and 6 shall take into consideration the communication dated 28.12.2021 issued on behalf of the
