There is an alternate remedy available under Rule 14(1)(b) of the The Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964. The petitioner can avail the said remedy. This is the objection raised by the learned Counsel appearing for the Zilla Parishad.

We therefore, accept the said objection and dismiss this petition on the ground of existence of alternate remedy. All questions are left open.
