JANUARY 20, 2025 On 27/9/2024, the Division Bench of this Court had directed the petitioner to approach respondent no.1 - Hon'ble Minister to get the appeal decided. The subject matter of appeal is order dated 30/4/2024 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Amravati. In the present petition as well, the said order has been challenged on the ground that respondent no.1 - Minister has not taken a decision, as directed by the Division Bench.

2] If that be so, appropriate remedy would lie before the Division Bench by filing appropriate proceeding, including proceeding under contempt jurisdiction. The order impugned being the subject matter of appeal before respondent no.1, remedy lies before him and not in writ jurisdiction.

3] The petition is dismissed.

4] It is clarified that no comments have been made on merits of the matter.
