DATE : 02/12//2020 This contempt petition alleges disobedience of interim order dated 22/08/2016 in Writ petition No. 4454 of 2016. By the Interim order the petitioner was directed to continue to work with respondent No.3-University. On 21/03/2018, the respondent issued a letter stating that the petitioner has retired on 31/08/2015 on attaining the age of 60 years.

The learned AGP has placed on record a letter of respondent dated 05/03/2020, whereby the communication dated 21/03/2018 is cancelled. Due to cancellation of the said communication dated 21/03/2018, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. Nothing survives in the petition. The same is therefore disposed of.
