DATED : 05-08-2021 Having elaborately heard the learned counsel Ms. Bobde and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mr. Mehroz Pathan, I expressed disinclination to grant bail, at least at this stage, upon which the learned counsel Ms. Bobde, on instructions received, sought liberty to withdraw the application.

Ms. Bobde, however, submits that the trial be expedited and the applicant be granted liberty to apply afresh before the trial Judge for bail, if there is no significant progress in the trial in the next six months. The submission is reasonable.

The application is disposed of as withdrawn.

The trial Judge is requested to expedite the trial. If there is no significant progress in the trial in the next six months, the applicant shall be at liberty to apply for bail afresh which prayer shall be considered on its own merits.
