DATE : January 14, 2020 The order of suspension dated 01/01/2020 passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Wardha pending the departmental enquiry against the petitioner is the subject matter of challenge in this writ petition.

The order of suspension pending departmental enquiry does not amount to punishment. Hence the principles of natural justice are not required to be followed. Hence we do not understand the ground of challenge that the order of suspension is in violation of principles of natural justice. The writ petition is therefore dismissed. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE Asmita
