APRIL 24, 2017 Since the application for extension of parole filed by the petitioner is not decided by the authorities, the petitioner who is in jail, is before this Court.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the respondents, it is clear that the authorities have not decided the application for extension of parole.

In that view of the matter, we direct the authorities to consider the application for extension of parole on its own merits within a period of two months from today and communicate outcome of the same to the petitioner. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Professional charges of Ms Saikhede, Advocate are quantified at Rs.1500/-.

JUDGE JUDGE kahale
