By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the respondents for not complying with the judgment dated 16/09/2014 in Writ Petition No.2328 of 2014.

According to the petitioner, the respondents were duty bound to reinstate the petitioner on one of the vacant posts in the Other Backward Classes, as per the direction of this Court. Since the order is not complied, the contempt petition is filed.

Shri Khubalkar, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, states that against the judgment dated 16/09/2014, a special leave petition was filed before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and hence, the petitioner was not immediately reinstated. It is stated that after the dismissal of the special leave petition, the petitioner is reinstated in service.

cp8.15 2/2 In view of the aforesaid, no action under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 is necessary against the respondents. The Contempt petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
