The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that due to inadvertence, the Commissioner (Education), State of Maharashtra, Pune, remained to be joined as a party-Respondent. 2.

Leave to amend for that purpose is granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner was selected as an Assistant Teacher through the quota meant for the persons with disability, however, he was given appointment in a School in Navi Mumbai when the Petitioner is

WP.167.20 originally from Pusad in Yavatmal District. The Petitioner had requested that he be given appointment in the area close to his home. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner's request to the Commissioner (Education) for that purpose made on 16 December 2019, has not been answered. 4.

Though the Petitioner has sought that the Petitioner should be appointed in a particular School, this is a decision the Commissioner (Education) will have to take considering the allocation of seats etc. However, considering that the Petitioner is physically challenged and that his request appears to be reasonable, the Commissioner (Education) will consider the request if it is feasible to do so and communicate the decision to the Petitioner within a period of six weeks from today, subject to other earlier time-bound commitments.
