The Petitioner has sought to set aside the list of unopposed candidates issued by the Respondent No.1- Tahsildar/Returning Officer, Gram Panchayat Vasantwadi, Tahsil Pusad, District Yavatmal. The Petitioner's contention is that the Petitioner is wanted to contest the election from Ward No.2, reserved for General Category. However, the name of the Petitioner has been wrongly included in respect of General Category (Woman).

We have perused the Petition and the record. We are not inclined to entertain this Petition at this stage, when the voting is scheduled on 15 January 2021. The Petitioner can raise her contention in the Election Petition, if required, after the result of the election is so declared.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
