It appears that the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee since the year 2007. Such a long pending claim is required to be decided expeditiously at the command of respondent No.2 Committee. The petition is, therefore, partly allowed and respondent No.2 Committee is directed to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner, in accordance with law, as early as possible and in any case, within eight weeks from the date of the order. Interim relief granted by this Court on 10th January, 2020 is continued till decision of the Scrutiny Committee and in case the decision goes adverse against the petitioner, for a further period of two weeks from the date of such adverse decision, if any. 3.
Rule is made absolute in the above terms. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE Tambaskar.
