JANUARY 12, 2016 The complainant in her report clearly sated that she was induced to have sexual relations with the applicant who is a Junior College Teacher. He committed rape on her by falsely promising to marry her and demanded sexual favour from her. In view of the amended definition of 'Rape', it clearly appears that there is no 'unequivocal consent'. Hence, Criminal Application No.15/2016 is rejected.
