First Appeal No.910/2023 has been dismissed by this Court vide judgment dated 05.10.2023.

Original claimant - Ashok has expired and his legal representatives i.e. respondent nos.1 to 4 have already been brought on record during the pendency of appeal itself. By this application, the applicants - respondent nos. 1 to 4 are seeking a direction to the Registry to disburse the amount of compensation deposited by the acquiring body in favour of the respondent no.1, who is power of power of attorney holder of respondent nos. 2 to 4.

The request cannot be granted. The only relief that can be granted is to let the power of attorney act on behalf of the other applicants for disbursement of amount in the account of the respective applicants.

Registry shall act accordingly and shall ensure that the amount of compensation has been equally paid to the legal representatives through account payee cheque/RTGS. The applicant no.1 is permitted to execute the document to facilitate the transfer of amount in the accounts of the applicants. The application is disposed of in the above terms. (Anil L.
