DATED : MARCH 04, 2020 In these writ petitions, the petitioner has challenged orders passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Maharashtra State, Circuit Bench, Nagpur, whereby applications filed on behalf of the petitioner have been rejected. The grievance sought to be raised by the petitioner in these writ petitions pertains to interpretation of an interim order passed by the State Consumer Commission in the appeals filed by the petitioners.

Considering the nature of grievance raised on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that an alternative efficacious remedy is available with the petitioner in the form of filing Revision Petitions before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi under Section 21(b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in these writ petitions seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petitions with liberty to approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi, by filing Revision Petitions to challenge the orders impugned herein. The writ petitions are permitted to be withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

It is directed that coercive steps may not be taken against the petitioners in view of the conditional interim orders passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for a period of three weeks, to facilitate the petitioner to approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi. 5.

It is made clear that such direction shall lapse on expiry of the period of three weeks and no extension of such direction beyond three weeks will be granted to the petitioner in all these writ petitions.
