The matter is called out twice today. None present for the appellant/ original complainant. The appeal is filed by the complainant challenging the order of acquittal of the respondent /accused in the matter of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Earlier, the matter was dismissed for want of prosecution, but subsequently was restored. It was again dismissed and again restored. Thereafter on 10th June, 2014 on the request on behalf of the appellant it was adjourned to 24th June, 2014.

As none present for the appellant today, the appeal is again dismissed for want of prosecution and accordingly disposed of.
